Women

MISSION: TO MOBILIZE WOMEN TO ACT BOLDLY ON THEIR FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST.

JOIN THE MARY CIRCLE

The Mary Circle

As an active member of a circle, we not only enjoy the fellowship of other women, but are made aware of the needs of our church, our community, and our world. Working side by side to help others in His name gives our lives a richer and fuller dimension.

Membership

Every circle member will extend a warm invitation to newcomers and church women wishing to become part of a circle. The doors are open — all are welcome!

Meetings

Regular meetings of the Mary Circle are held at the church at noon and scheduled for the 2nd Tuesday of the month. Please bring a bag lunch. Dessert and beverages will be shared.

Our Offerings

Giving is one of the ways we say "Thank You" for all God has given us. Through our support of specific ministries, we share our gifts with God's people around the world. Our offerings:

  • Contribute to Lutheran World Relief
  • Bring joy to our own sick and shut-ins
  • Contribute to worthy causes
  • Support Faith Lutheran Youth Groups

We ask your blessing upon our offerings, Dear Lord. May they serve to accomplish the work you have left in our hands.

Bible Study

Stitch-N-Chatter - Thursdays at 1:00-2:30 pm. in Rm. 212

We make layette items for needy babies. We also make lap robes & prayer shawls for shut-ins & nursing homes. Your only cost is your own supplies. Can't knit or crochet? We'll teach you! Sometimes there's more chatter than stitch, but it's always lively. Members & non-members are always welcome. Hope you'll join us!

JOIN OUR PRAYER CHAIN!

Prayer Chain of Faith

To participate in the Prayer Chain, you will be called (or emailed) when a member of the congregation has a special concern that he or she would like help in bringing to God. You then say a prayer for that person and call (or email) the next member of the prayer chain. You can serve without leaving your home!

There are multiple legs of the Prayer Chain, each consisting of 5-6 members. So it doesn't take long for new concerns to receive immediate attention. Click the "Prayer Web Site" image to access Lutheran prayer resources.
